Resilience Planning

Resilience Planning

The South Carolina Office of Resilience is responsible for developing and implementing a Strategic Statewide Resilience and Risk Reduction Plan (Resilience Plan). The Plan identifies major flood risks around the state and potential losses that could occur as a result of extreme weather events, and provides strategies for local governments to implement resilience into their communities in order to mitigate potential flood risks.

Flooding Survey

SCOR continues to seek input from citizens around the state about their experiences with flooding in order to better inform the Resilience Plan. Citizens are encouraged to complete this survey to share details about flooding in their areas, and to encourage their communities to complete the survey as well. View the dashboard to see a live report of survey responses collected so far.
