Notice of Public Hearing
A public hearing will be held on Thursday, June 20 in Marion County regarding the SC Office of Resilience (SCOR) application for funding through the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Preservation and Reinvestment Initiative for Community (PRICE) Grant Program. Members of the public are invited to attend the hearing from 6:00 - 7:00pm in the Auditorium at 151 East Front Street, Mullins, SC, 29574. Attendees will be able to review grant application materials and provide public comment at the meeting, online, or by mail.
SCOR’s draft application will be available for public comment from Tuesday, June 18, 2024 through Friday, July 5, 2024. All comments must be received Friday, July 5, 2024 by 11:59 PM. Written comments should be sent here or via mail at:

Project Overview
SCOR intends to apply for funding through the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Preservation and Reinvestment Initiative for Community (PRICE) Grant Program. If awarded, SCOR will utilize HUD PRICE Main funding to replace manufactured housing units (MHUs) for low- and moderate-income (LMI) persons in an effort to revitalize the MHU populations in Georgetown, Horry, Marion, and Williamsburg Counties. In effect, this project would braid the best practices gained from the effective implementation of SCOR’s CDBG-DR programs with the goals of the HUD PRICE program to serve eligible yet unserved citizens.
