COLUMBIA, S.C. — The South Carolina Office of Resilience’s (SCOR) Disaster Recovery Office (DRO) held its scheduled Community Development Block Grant-Mitigation Steering Committee meeting on Thursday, January 20, 2022.
The Steering Committee approved $19,775,474.00 in mitigation infrastructure grant funding for stormwater and drainage improvements to the following local governments:

|City of Dillon - Lucius Rd.||$952,000.00|
|City of Dillon - Railroad Crossing||$958,000.00|
|City of Dillon - Dargan St.||$1,936,000.00|
|Town of Cheraw - Second St.||$3,433,973.00|
|Town of Cheraw - Washington & RR||$5,759,047.00|
|City of Isle of Palms||$1,396,700.00|
SCOR expects to open the third round of CDBG-Mitigation grant applications in late 2022 and will send an announcement prior to the application period opening. The Steering Committee approved $4,933,225.00 in mitigation buyout grant funding for the City of Bennettsville.
